HomeGreat Willys Picnic

The 15th annual Great Willys Picnic in brought 67 vehicles and hundreds of Willys fans to Kempton, Pennsylvania in June 2014 -- see photos below.

The Picnic was held on the grounds of the Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad, where it has been since moving in 2012.

Seth King's orange 3B at the 2014 Picnic.

Wagons, Wagoneers, flatties and more.

Black CJ-3B must be Peirce Eichelberger's.

Beautiful little CJ-5 wrecker.

Al-Toys for sale included a nice Willys pickup.

And speaking of toy trucks...

Very sharp CJ-3A with a Reading caboose in the background.

Lots of parts for sale.

Reading and Lackawanna coaches make a great 1950s backdrop for the Jeeps.

This saddletank 0-6-0 was retired by the WK&S in 2010, but may be restored.

The Schuylkill and Lehigh HO layout is inside an actual passenger car.

Hope to see you at the next Picnic!

Thanks to Bob Westerman for the photos. -- Derek Redmond
